Hemp Dark Chocolate Energy Bites

10 years ago I was diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases. At the time, I had no idea what was wrong, I just knew that I could barely make it through my days without bursting into tears from exhaustion. I was exhausted, bloated, could not remember anything to save my life (brain fog anyone?), my anxiety was through the roof, and I had insomnia.

I had so many people telling me, everyone is tired, just drink another cup of coffee. So, I drank coffee constantly, I ate lots of sugar to give me a quick boost of energy , I ate tons of simple carbs because my body was always craving sugar. I didn’t sleep well at night because my body couldn’t process all the crap I was putting in it.

Now, 10 years into my journey, I know which foods to eat to help keep the inflammation down. Sugar is still one of my greatest weaknesses. My body is quick to let me know I am making bad choices and hopefully I’m in the mood to listen.

I have been experimenting with sweet treats that don’t have any processed sugar. These Hemp Dark Chocolate Energy Bites by Minimalist Baker are at the top of my list! They taste like a mix between a brownie and fudge and are sweetened with dates. They are completely satisfying! I’m hooked!. You should definitely try these! ❤️
