This Really Is The Best Vegan Burger

I am constantly on the hunt for the best veggie burger. I’ve tried quite a few recipes over the years. Some have been amazing and some have been epic fails. Some taste great but don’t hold together well. Some hold together but the taste is just ok. Needless to say, I’m still searching.

When I came across this recipe by Minimalist Baker for The BEST Vegan Burger, I knew I had to try it. And let me tell you, this is probably the best vegan burger I have ever had.

The consistency, texture and flavor are just what I’ve been looking for. Not only does this burger hold together perfectly, it is also tasty and super easy to make.

It does require that you have a cup of cooked and cooled brown rice. I didn’t realize that the first time I made it and so I had to use my super fast cooling method (let me know if you need the technique). I’ve also found it to be super versatile. I always have some left over so after we use it for burgers we also use it in wraps (pic 2), and as a topper for salads. This recipe is one of the most requested in my household.
I make it a lot to have on hand for days when I am running Parker around after school.

I hope you try this recipe and that you love it as much as my family does.
