Blueberry Smoothie
My favorite morning drink! This time of year I love a good smoothie. As the mornings heat up I like to have a breakfast that doesn’t make me feel heavy. It’s also a great way to add a bunch of fruit and veggies to your morning.
This smoothie has almond milk, nut butter, chia seeds, hemp seeds, honey, and blueberries. I like to add kale as well when I have it. It is delicious, high in good fat and protein, and leaves me feeling completely satisfied.
Here is the recipe:
8 oz of almond milk (or nut milk of your choice)
2 tbsp almond butter (or nut butter of your choice)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tsp honey
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
Blend until smooth and enjoy immediately!
