Coffee Banana Smoothie

Not the most beautiful picture you will see today but boy did it taste good!

As the weather in Atlanta starts to cool down my interest in smoothies wanes. But the other day is t was so beautiful and warm outside that I decided to make one after my yoga practice.

I didn’t have much in the house but was craving a smoothie from long ago that had coffee, dates, and bananas in it. It has a lot more stuff in it but I have no idea what it was.

I threw those ingredients in my blender along with some oat milk. It was soooo good! It wasn’t the smoothie of olden days but it was exactly what I wanted and totally hit the spot.

Ingredients

1 1/2 frozen bananas

6 oz coffee (room temp works best)

8 oz oat milk

1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder

1 date (pitted)

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

  • Enjoy immediately!
